What you need to know...
Terms of use (Electric LCV Demo)
- The driver must hold a full, valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle class and have held it for a minimum of 3 years.
- Drivers must be aged 25 to 70.
- It is the hirers responsibility to ensure the vehicle is insured for the entire duration of the demonstration period.
- The vehicle is for demonstration purposes only (testing suitability for business use)
- Any fines, or penalties incurred during the demonstration period are the responsibility of the hirer.
- The user agrees to indemnify the rental agency against all fines, charges, and legal costs arising from the use of the vehicle.
- The vehicle must not leave the UK under any circumstances.
- No smoking or pets inside the vehicle at any time. Charges will be made for professional cleaning required due to smoking or pets.
- The vehicle must be returned with the same charge level, or a refuelling charge will be applied.
- The driver must check oil, water, and tyre pressures, and keep the vehicle in a roadworthy condition.
- The vehicle must be returned in a clean condition. A valeting fee may be charged if returned dirty.
- The vehicle must be returned by the agreed time and date. Late returns may incur daily charges.
- The vehicle will be fitted with a telematics device to monitor mileage, location, and driving style.
- SIXT van & truck may use this data for safety, recovery, or to check for breaches of the terms.
